Registration and Payment Information for Participating Teams

Registration Process

  1. Several requests for Country Coordinators' contact details have been sent out to the last known email addresses since 11 December 2011. Deadline for submission of updated contact details to the IBO 2012 Secretariat is 15 February 2012.
  2. Letters of Invitation to participate in IBO 2012 Singapore will be sent out around the middle of February 2012, to the Coordinators who have responded by 15 February 2012. Deadline for confirmation of country's/team's participation is 31 March 2012.
  3. Online registration for submission of Team Details will open on 1 April 2012 and close on 31 May 2012. Countries unable to submit Team Details by the deadline are requested to inform the IBO 2012 Secretariat before 31 May 2012.
Notes:
  • As the number of single rooms is limited, two-member Jury teams will be given priority for these rooms. Observers might have to share rooms if there are not enough single rooms.
  • As there is limited accommodation in the hostel cluster nearest the main IBO facilities, late country registrants might have their Observers housed in a different cluster of hostels and might have to walk further for breakfast served at the main dining hall. Please confirm the details of your Team's registration as soon as you can.
  • Prompt submission of Team Details will better facilitate planning and reduce excesses or wastage (doing our bit for the environment).  For example, in allocation of accommodation, or sizing of T-shirts and lab coats.

Participation Fees

  1. The Participation Fee for each team of two Jury members and four student participants is Two Thousand Five Hundred Singapore Dollars (SGD 2,500).

  3. All payment must be made in Singapore dollars only.
  4. All fees can be paid either through bank drafts or telegraphic transfers.
